Claude Code 2.1.270: read-only git commands stop asking for permission again
2.1.270 fixes a 2.1.269 regression that made read-only git commands ask for permission again after a session had been running for a while.

Claude Code 2.1.270, shipped September 12, 2026, closes a regression introduced by 2.1.269 the day before. What changed:
- Read-only git commands (
git status,git log,git diff, and the like), normally exempt from any confirmation, had started asking for permission again once a session had been running for a while. - The regression lasted exactly one version: it appeared with 2.1.269 and is gone a day later.
- No action needed beyond updating: these commands go back to running silently as intended.
